THE RAINBOW PARADE - DIE REGENBOGENPARADE

Once a year lesbians, gays and transgender people are invited to celebrate their livestyle with all who wish to participate on the streets of Vienna.

Who decides...
what is right and wrong?
what is good and bad?
what is pretty and what is tasteless?
what is light and what is dark?
who is normal and what is normal?
who is a saint and who is a sinner?

These questions raised through out the day and especially during the minute of silence when everybody was asked to remember those, that died of Aids because of their sexual preferences.

God decides what is normal.
God is not far away but inside us.
We must 'fight' this sentiment with ourselves everyday.
And everyday we should try to accept the dark side of our moon.

Thanks for these pictures on my sunny sunday, here in Patagonia.

Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful photographs from the rainbow parade of Vienna .. I loved them all ..
I must admit that I liked your pics this time more than ever (and I liked them always, just to be clear),
this time I could really see the beauty of the unusual (I prefer the word usual and unsual, since these are
outfits, which we're not used to see everyday)...
